damp air

scalding shower

the damp air upon entering was just lovely, not! , and the shower nearly scalded me, what a thrill. i almost gave a good review, however, i expected a complimentary drink to ease this miserable experience. also, the noise from the toilet was quite a delightful symphony, but perhaps only at my expense? , shan't return.

my stay was fantastic as I could easily stroll to Eyre Square, just around 500 meters away, and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the Latin Quarter, about 1 km away, making it a breeze for weekend city explorations.

The complimentary breakfast was great, especially Grannie's pancakes! The location was a short 5-10 minute walk to the city center. My room was simple, clean, and comfortable, with lovely afternoon sun. I appreciated the real keys for the rooms instead of key cards.
